Mr.Shrikant Chandane ,the director is a Mechanical Engineer,has long 17 years of Experience in engineering field and out of them 7 years with CAD CAM CAE related field.Who is also founder-president of CAD CAM PEOPLE'S ASSOCIATION of INDIA ,which has more than 80 CAD CAM related member companies.And also started a India's first CAR DESIGN institute in Pune.( CAD CAM PEOPLE'S INSTITUTE OF DESIGN)

SMC DESIGN Started in the year 2001 with few projects of TATA MOTORS  and GREAVES LTD.which were purely software and design services based for CNC Machine Guardings and 3d modeling and optimization.SMC worked for robotic industry through Precision Automation and Robotics Ltd. on simulation projects .SMC had undertaken projects of GERMAN based Company THREMOELECTRON Corporation also.

Now SMC DESIGN entered in to purely Automotive Design especially in Special Purpose vehicles, Recreational Vehicles, Motorhomes and CARAVANS,Interior and Exteriors and modifications of Cars and Buses.We designed and manufactured 75 vehicles of DRINKO company .We designed juice bar and ambulances for Rennaissance Group.Our satisfied clientile is worldwide for quality services.

SMC has cpability of undertaking projects from concept design to prototype manufacturing with a team of expert designer on software like Alias,CATIA,Solidworks.We have a expert Sheet metal Fabrication team,FRP manufacturing team.SMC with a team of  40 people can provide services .

         Design and development for Custom made bodies and Prototype design and manufacturing .Design support for other

         departments like Machine tool design and Growth.

          DRINKO brand vehicle Design development and manufacturing of Juicebar on wheel.70 vehicles  manufactured in             

          FRP and Sheet metal body.Interior kitchen and cabinet system with sink.

   3.  Premier Ltd.Pune 

         Custom bodies ,for Premier pick up Roadstar and Premier Sigma for food outlets and Ambulances.Compelete design and 

         development support.Prototype development manufacturing .

          Customised SIGMA premier van for school.

          Designing custom made bodies only for 3 wheelers.
